This Is What The New Toyota Supra Looks Like With A Widebody Kit

This year’s SEMA Show is expected to be chock-full of modified A90 Toyota Supras and these renderings imagine the new sports car fitted with a widebody kit from Rocket Bunny.

Not everyone has been won over by the exterior design but we can report that the car looks much better in person than it does in photos. The shape of the new Supra also seems to lend itself quite well to upgraded and enhanced body panels.

Flat Hat 3D is responsible for these renderings and they show the car in two configurations. The first configuration sees a pair of flared arches fitted to the car at both the front and rear. Additionally, there is a custom front splitter, extended side skirts, and a towering ducktail spoiler at the rear. Aftermarket wheels have also been designed.

As for the second widebody Supra, it is even more overt thanks to the presence of a huge rear wing similar to the ones found on certain RWB-tuned Porsche 911s. It looks absolutely wild but if you think it’s too much, there are a pair of other renderings which show the car with slightly smaller rear wings.

Sitting under the elongated hood of the new Supra is a boosted 3.0-liter inline-six engine pumping out 335 hp and 364 lb-ft (494 Nm) of torque. These figures are impressive but a recent dyno run of the car conducted by Car and Driver indicates that the car’s engine has been underrated. Power is sent through the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission resulting in a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) time of 4.1 seconds.
