An encounter broke out in Shopian early on Friday morning and top commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba are believed to be trapped. The encounter started between security forces and militants in Dragad Sugan area of Shopian district.

Army, CRPF and Shopian Police are present at the spot. If sources are to be believed, top commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba are trapped inside a building.

Massive reinforcement of army has been rushed to the encounter site at Dragad Sugan area of south Kashmir's Shopian district.
