Agro firm lodges complaint against four

COIMBATORE: A Vizag-based agro products company on Tuesday filed a complaint with Race Course police against four individuals saying they cheated the company of Rs 13.24 lakh. The individuals reportedly bought three tonnes of black pepper from the company, but failed to complete payment for the same within the agreed time.
According to police, the company- Nirvapate Agro received an order from four individuals for three tonnes of black pepper. They had agreed to settle the payment within five hours of receiving the payment. Trusting their word, the company delivered the product to a mentioned address on April 28. However, the buyers reportedly issued a cheque, which could not be cashed in.
