Ultra-Rare Arash AF10 Hypercar Spotted (Naturally…) In Monaco

Looking back, one of the most impressive pieces of kit launched at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show was the Arash AF10, a hybrid hypercar built by a boutique UK-based manufacturer.

Thanks to its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and four electric motors, the AF10 is said to put down a staggering 2,080 HP, which is twice as much as the recently unveiled Ferrari SF90 Stradale and roughly 600 HP more than the Bugatti Chiron.

When the AF10 was first announced, the automaker said there would be two separate versions. One is the previously-mentioned hybrid model, whereas the other would do away with the electric motors and keep just the V8 ICE, producing a much more modest 550 HP.

The car caught on camera by spotter MCMVIIII in Monaco might be the latter, we suspect, simply because it’s missing the hardcore under-body carbon fiber bits displayed by the hybrid model in pretty much every official image.

In any case, it’s the hybrid that’s the most interesting of the two – and for good reason: it does 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.8 seconds, 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in under 3 seconds, 0-200 km/h (124 mph) in under 8 seconds and 0-300 km/h (186 mph) in under 27 seconds. Also, it’ll go from 80 to 120 km/h (50-75 mph) in a mere 1.8 seconds.

If you choose to accelerate using only electric power, that’s going to make you slower, with 0-100 km/h taking a bit under 5 seconds. Not bad for EV mode…

Of course, the status of each Arash is reflected at its price: the entry-level V8 will set you back £350,000 ($441,000), whereas the Hybrid is priced from £1,100,000 ($1,387,000).
