22-year-old stephan cleveland and his girlfriend 25-year-old jenean lucero, were arrested may 7 on charges of first-degree assault of a child.
Cleveland is a level three sex offender who was convicted of second-degree rape of a child as a teenager in 2014.
His trial is currently scheduled for june 24.
A pasco man will spend nearly 25 years in jail after being convicted in a federal courtroom on multiple drug trafficking charges.
33-year-old rosalio emmanuel sanchez was found guilty in march after a five-day trial.
He was convicted of one count of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of meth, including five kilograms of cocaine.
The judge sentenced sanchez to two concurrent 270-month terms in federal prison.
He will be under court supervision for 10 years after he's released.
A pendleton woman who died in a single-car rollover near pilot rock has been identified as 21-year-old toni renee brown.
The umatilla county sheriff's office says brown was the sole occupant of a maroon chevy when she crashed in the area of mill road and hoeft road on tuesday.
That night, deputies found the car resting on its top on hoeft road.
The sheriff's office is awaiting the results of toxicology tests to determine if alcohol was a factor.
A bicyclist is in the hospital after being hit by a car.
It happened yesterday near clearwater and arthur in kennewick.
Police say when the 28-year-old was crossing in the crosswalk, one car didn't stop -- hitting the woman.
She's expected to be okay.
Kennewick police do not suspect drugs or alcohol played a factor.

Tuesday a man was riding in a car with a woman when he saw a friend on the street and asked her to pull over....that's when he was apparently shot.

18 year old kirsten tackett, had been in critical condition at the harborview medical center in seattle.
A harborview spokeswoman told kapp-kvew that kirsten is no longer in critical condition in the icu and she is more alert than before.
