AMBALA: A 70-year-old labourer died and two others got injured after a cold storage building collapsed in Gita Nagar area of Ambala city on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Jagtar Singh, a resident of Una in Himachal. The injured have been identified as Ajay Kumar Vishwa and Vijay Kumar Vishwa - both residents of Darjeeling.
As per information, Jagtar Singh, his wife Sawarn Kaur, Ajay Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Santosh Kumar were sleeping when a portion of the building collapsed at 3.30am on Wednesday.
After getting an alert from some locals, a fire team reached the spot and carried out rescue operation.
