Mitchell Freeway backed up seven kilometres after Carine crash
Traffic on Perth's Mitchell Freeway north was backed up six exits from Warwick Road all the way to Hutton Street – a good seven kilometres – on Thursday evening after a car rolled in Carine.
Emergency and towing services on site forced the centre and right lanes to close and traffic to squeeze through a single northbound lane.
A St John Ambulance spokesman took one person to hospital at normal road speed, indicating injuries were not life-threatening.
The site was cleared by 5.30pm, but traffic remained heavy into the evening.
