Slow demand hits turmeric

Turmeric prices and sales were down due to low demand.At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Sales yard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,211-7,699, root variety was sold at ₹4,309-6,809. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at ₹6,355- 7,308, root variety at ₹5,709-6,730 .
