NEW DELHI: Don't we all swear by our favourite ensembles for a special occasion and don't mind recreating something similar? Well, turns out Prime Minister Narendra Modi is just one of us!
For his swearing-in as the 15th prime minister, Modi opted for a look similar to the 2014 ceremony.
After storming to power with a massive mandate, Modi on Thursday took oath as the Prime Minister for the second consecutive term.
His trademark Modi jacket and taut churidaar were his picks for both the big days.
For the 2014 ceremony, Modi wore a cream kurta and white churidaar paired with a beige coloured sleeveless 'bandh-gala' jacket
Cut to 2019, he made the same choice. However, Modi's favourite jacket had its colour changed to a shade close to grey and the kurta was white.
On close observation, one can see some more differences. This time the Prime Minister seemed to have shed off weight, the hair was shorter, beard thicker and more defined.
Modi's sartorial choices have made headlines on many occasions - from his headgears for Republic Day celebrations to the suit printed with his name - he surely knows how to stand out.
The bandh-gala jackets brought into rage once again by Modi, and sarees with his photos had flooded markets in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.
Modi took oath along with his councils of ministers in the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Several dignitaries, including world leaders, were present on the occasion.
Bollywood celebrities, including Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Vivek Oberoi, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, among many others also attended the mega event.
