A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Tuesday adjourned till May 30 the hearing on an appeal filed by Meena Menon, owner of Santhivanam in North Paravur against a single judge verdict upholding the Additional District Magistrate’s order that allowed drawing of 110 kV lines over the middle portion of her land.
According to her, the plea was dismissed by the single judge without application of mind and without considering the reports filed by the Forest Research Institute, Thrissur. Her plea for drawing the line through an alternative route was also dismissed.
