Share market update: 24 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Overall, 17 shares were trading in the green in the Nifty50 index, while 33 were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Around 24 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Adani Gas, ADF Foods, Adhunik Industries, Atul and Blue Star.
Electrotherm (India), Gujarat Gas, KEI Industries, Mazda, Power Mech Projects and Prestige Estates Projects also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 20.15 points down at 11,908.60 while the BSE Sensex was trading 72.07 points down at 39,677.66.

Overall, 17 shares were trading in the green in the Nifty50 index, while 33 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Infratel, TCS, GAIL, HCL Tech and Wipro were among the top gainers.

While Vedanta, ONGC, Indiabulls Housing Finance, UPL and ZEEL were trading in the red.
