Fans of the Harry Potter series have a reason to rejoice. Pottermore Publishing recently announced that they are launching four new non-fiction eBook shorts this year. The books are called
Harry Potter: A Journey Through…, and they are adapted from the audiobook
Harry Potter: A History of Magic which was inspired by an exhibition of the same name by the British Library.
The four new Harry Potter non-fiction e-books will focus on the history of the different elements of the wizarding life; their content revolves around the courses which are taught at Hogwarts. The books are illustrated by artist Rohan Daniel Eason.
'In addition to exploring the origins of magic through history and folklore, the eBook shorts will also feature notes, manuscript pages and charming sketches as previously seen in
Harry Potter: A History of Magic,' reads a statement on Pottermore.com.
The eBooks which will be published in the coming months are: Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy, and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures.
The eBooks will initially be launched in English, French, Italian, and German. They are currently available for pre-order.
