A woman has died and another has been hurt following a house fire in Flintshire.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to the fire at a property on Burntwood Road in Buckley at 2.59am today.
A woman believed to be in her 60s was found in the property by firefighters, and was taken to hospital by ambulance but did not survive.
Another woman in her 40s was also taken to hospital but her condition is not believed to be serious.
Four appliances - one from Buckley , one from Mold and two from Deeside - used breathing apparatus, main jets and hose reel jets to tackle the blaze.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the incident will be the subject of a joint investigation with North Wales Police .
