As a part of its golden jubilee celebrations, JNU will be hosting a week-long programme of music and cultural events from June 3 to June 9 that boasts of a line-up of award-winning artistes, singers and musicians in the country

The university has partnered with SPIC MACAY to organise the event which will give students an opportunity to interact and learn from some renowned artistes. The event is open to public provided they register for the specific event by visiting the relevant page on the JNU website, the university said.
Over 800 student participants from various colleges and universities of India are expected to join the event. JNU has made arrangements for their stay in various dormitories which are largely vacant these days owing to the summer vacation in JNU
However, some student of the university complained that they were being forced to move out of their rooms to accommodate visitors.
