The season only ended an hour ago, so tomorrow I will begin to speak with my club, with the owner, with the director, with (director) Marina (Granovskaia), I don't know. But we need to speak of course like in every club at the end of the season. I'd like to know what the club can do for me, what I can do better for the club. So I need to speak, but I think the club also needs to speak with me, and then in a couple of days we will decide. But I have a contract, so at the moment we are talking about nothing." 7. WHITE FLASH 8. (SOUNDBITE) (English) CHELSEA MANAGER MAURIZIO SARRI, ASKED WHETHER HE THINKS HE DESERVES TO STAY AS MANAGER OF CHELSEA, SAYING: "I think so, but it's only my opinion. My opinion is not enough." STORY: Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri, fresh from winning the first major title of his managerial career with a 4-1 win over Arsenal in the Europa League final, said he was happy in his role, despite persistent speculation he is close to a return to Italy. Sarri had secured Chelsea's place in next year's Champions League with a third-place finish in the Premier League before he led the Londoners to their third European title since 2012 in the Olympic Stadium in Baku. But many fans made it clear they did not like the Italian's style after a run of poor performances in his first season at the helm, leading to reports the former Napoli manager was considering a return to Serie A. Sarri, 60, said he would speak to top officials at Chelsea - who have made a habit of hiring and firing managers in quick succession - in the coming days. | |||||
