The Kozhikode Principal and Sessions Court on Tuesday dismissed the anticipatory bail applications filed by two of the three teachers allegedly involved in the impersonation episode during Plus One and Plus Two exams at the Neeleswaram Government Higher Secondary School, near Mukkom, in Kozhikode district.
According to sources, the bail applications of computer applications teacher Nishad V. Mohammed, who was the additional deputy chief exam superintendent, and deputy chief exam superintendent P.K. Faisal were rejected.
The application moved by school principal K. Raziya, who was the chief superintendent for the exam, is reportedly under consideration of the court. All the three are at large and the police had issued a lookout notice for them.
They were earlier suspended by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education after they were found to have committed irregularities during a preliminary inquiry.
Mr. Nishad, a teacher of Computer Applications, had written the English exam for three Plus Two students and changes were found to have been made in the Computer Application answer scripts of 32 Plus One students. One of the three Plus Two students cleared the exam and two others will write the Save A Year exam soon.
Results withheld
Meanwhile, the directorate has withheld the results of two of the 32 Plus One students when the results were announced on Tuesday as their answer scripts were found to be completely corrected. They have been asked to appear for an improvement exam to be held in July and August.
The remaining 30 students have cleared the exam though only some of the answers in the answer scripts were found to be corrected. In the Neeleshwaram school, 130 of 128 students in the science stream and 61 of 65 students in the commerce stream have cleared the Plus One exam.
