Deepika Padukone shares her views on legalising same-sex marriages in India

Ever since the historic decision by the Supreme Court to decriminalise homosexuality, many from the film fraternity have come out in the open to support the LGBT community in the country. One such personality from the Bollywood industry is one of India's leading actresses, Deepika Padukone, who shared her views on same-sex marriage. In a recent interview, Deepika reportedly stated that it feels strange to even have to ask or address that particular question. She further stated that one should not even allow oneself to be in a situation where 'somebody else dictates how and with whom you want to spend the rest of your lives.'
