All was not well with maestro Ilaiyaraja and legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam as the former sent a legal notice a couple of years ago asking the singer to not perform any song composed by him without his permission.

Ilaiyaraja’s friend Kamal Haasan is also expected to attend the event. Meanwhile, the composer is also working on two Tamil films - Mysskin’s Psycho and Vijay Sethupathi’s Maamanithan.
However, now it looks like they have decided to bury the hachet and are coming together for a concert in Chennai. The two legends will share the same stage on Raja’s birthday, which falls on June 2 and they have already started
rehearsing for it. A picture of them hugging each other was going viral on social media.
