SATELLITES MOVING ACROSS NIGHT SKY STORY: SpaceX launched 60 satellites into low-Earth orbit as part of Elon Musk's new Starlink global internet service on Monday (May 24).
Dutch scientist, Dr Marco Langbroek captured a 'train' of satellites as they created a light trail in the night sky over the Dutch city of Leiden.
"I knew the launch might be interesting, with this many objects," Langbroek told Reuters.
"I had calculated an expected orbit for the satellites myself, and used that to point the camera." Langbroek shot the video with a low-light-level surveillance camera, which he pointed out of his loft window.
