The England international is out of contract this summer and Wednesday’s Europa League final is set to be his final appearance for Arsenal after he snubbed the Gunners’ offer of an extension.

Everton are keen to win the battle for the forward, who is said to be keen on returning to the north west.

Malcom set for exit

Sticking with Barcelona, the Catalans are reportedly set to sell rumoured Everton target Malcom this summer.

The Brazilian has struggled since making the move to Camp Nou from Bordeaux last summer.

Malcom has struggled to win over coach Ernesto Valverde and, according to Catalan daily Sport, will be allowed to go this summer.

Barcelona are prepared to sell Malcom, but will reportedly want a buy-back clause in any agreement as the club’s technical staff believe he has potential.

He could also be allowed to go on loan, but with a purchase obligation included.

The Premier League is tipped to be the winger’s most likely destination this summer with Everton and Tottenham Hotspur both linked with Malcom in recent months.

Martinez tipped for Barcelona

Former Everton boss Roberto Martinez is the shock favourite to replace Ernesto Valverde as Barcelona manager this summer.

After the Catalans’ Champions League exit to Liverpool and Copa del Rey final loss to Valencia, there have been suggestions that emergency meetings have been called to discuss Valverde’s position.

According to Catalan radio station RAC1, Barca bosses are considering a change despite publicly showing their support for Valverde with suggestions they are looking for someone who is tougher in training.

Martinez is a supposed favourite, while Ronald Koeman has also been linked with the job.
