India, Pakistan officials meet on Kartarpur corridor begins at Zero Line

GURDASPUR: Meeting between the officials of India and Pakistan to discuss about the modalities for the facilitation of pilgrims going to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Darbar Sahib , Kartarpur Sahib , Pakistan through the under construction Kartarpur corridor has begun at Zero Line at Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district on Monday.

According to sources officials from ministry of home affairs, land port authority of India, national highway authority of India , border security force will have discussions with their Pakistani counterparts on various issues including number of pilgrims who will be allowed to travel across the border , immigration , customs and other related formalities.
The first jatha of Indian pilgrims is likely to visit Pakistan through the corridor in November to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sikh's first master Guru Nanak Dev.
