'The worst accident I've ever seen': Mother and her four young children are incinerated after nightmare head-on collision with an oncoming truck

A woman and four young children were incinerated in a horrific car crash last night.
The woman, 35, was driving in South Burnett, Queensland at 7.20pm when she pulled out to overtake a truck.
But her Nissan station wagon smashed into an oncoming truck and both caught fire.

The driver of the truck, a 47-year-old man, escaped and was taken to hospital for his injuries.
The driver of the car and her three children, all aged under 10, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A young girl also travelling in the car was transported to Kingaroy Hospital with life threatening injuries.

She was later flown to Queensland Children's Hospital in a critical condition but sadly passed away during the flight.
A policeman at the scene told Channel 9: 'It's certainly one of the worst accidents I've ever seen. It's just a tragedy for everyone involved.'
Investigations are continuing and police are expected to remain on the scene for hours.
