New cities to boost up Uganda tourism

Sixty seven per cent business of Uganda is happening in Kampala and it has had huge pressure in infrastructure partially due to rural urban migration.

The formation of other cities will be helping in decongestion of Kampala as business with time will become wide spread all over the country. The new cities will draw better healthcare, education and other social services that have been luring visitors to Kampala.

Before 1962, the Ugandan youth had Independence as prime focus because that occupied their mind and few years later because of the political upheaval.

The youth of the time had a protected environment as their key focus. Now, the youth have financial empowerment as their prime desire and that couldn’t happen in Kampala.

The major advantage of Uganda is extensive distribution of possible opportunities like fertile soils, minerals and tourism attractions.

The formation of cities will encourage proper utilization of that same potential thus generating jobs particularly for youth and women.

Anyhow, desire today is all about forming first tourism city of Uganda comprising Kasese and Fort Portal. Each and every serious country world over has got a tourism city and yes, some are clearly marked out and others are silent.
