Stan Lee's ex-manager arrested on elder abuse chargesStan Lee's former manager has been arrested on suspicion of elder abuse against the late comic book legend. The Los Angeles Police Department released this photo of 43-year-old Keya Morgan...after he was traced to a Phoenix suburb Saturday. Police said Morgan's bail was set at $300,000...and that he would eventually be extradited to Los Angeles to face charges. Earlier this month, Morgan was charged with five counts of elder abuse - including false imprisonment and fraud... The New York-based memorabilia collector became involved with Lee in 2017. But, last year, he was served with a restraining order after Lee's family accused him of elder abuse...an allegation Morgan has denied. Court documents from 2018 show he was accused of seizing control of Lee's Hollywood Hills home. Morgan allegedly hired security guards with orders to keep relatives and associates away - before moving the comic book creator to an unfamiliar condominium. The LAPD said Lee's estate was worth more than $50 million, but that no one had clear legal authority to act on Lee's behalf. Lee was the co-creator of dozens of Marvel superheroes, including "Spider-Man" and "The Hulk." He died in November at the age of 95. | |||||
