Indore: A woman was stabbed by her husband in Aerodrome area on Saturday. They had an argument over food after which accused injured his wife. The accused has been arrested by the police and further investigation is on. According to police, Chhota Bangarda resident Chandrakanta Raikwar had filed a complaint against husband Amardeep Raikwar on Saturday. She stated in her complaint that she had an argument with Amardeep on Friday night as he told her that food she cooked was tasteless. Situation turned tense and in a fit of anger Amardeep attempted to slap her but she pushed him aside.
Soon, Amardeep brought a kitchen knife and stabbed on her shoulder. Hearing her loud scream Chandrakanta’s sister Deepali rushed inside the kitchen and tried to intervene. She rushed Chandrakanta to the hospital. Amardeep fled but not before threatening her. He was later arrested by the police. According to investigation officer SI Rajesh Gour, couple has three children who were in the house at the time of incident. Couple married seven years ago and they often had disputes because Amardeep is a liquor addict and would often argue with his wife for money.
