A creative mum from Springfield, New South Wales, has revealed how she transformed a drab space into the linen cupboard of her dreams.

The DIY-enthusiast recently took to Instagram to share the results of her handiwork which she completed using items from Bunnings, Adairs and Spotlight.

'The linen cupboard [was] by far my longest area to organise. I just couldn't get it right until I did some DIY,' the woman wrote alongside a series of snaps showing her freshly overhauled laundry cupboard.

'I chose to organise into baskets so anyone can keep it organised. It's foolproof.'

She revealed part of her transformation saw her purchase a number of wire baskets from Adairs for $12.

The baskets (now sold-out) were previously coloured rose gold but after spray painting white, they fitted perfectly with her clean, minimalist aesthetic.

The baskets sit on the top and bottom shelves of the laundry cupboard and are used for storing items such as cushions and coathangers.

What makes this transformation even more pleasing is the woman's clever use of inexpensive baskets to store all manner of items.

The hessian white-dipped baskets are priced at $12 for two and are available from Bunnings. These function as storage for items including towels and bedding.

The woman also revealed how she'd used a tagging system to label all the baskets. She used tags, priced at $2.25 for a packet of 25, from Spotlight, and added custom-printed labels from Practical Pantry Labels.

'The baskets inside may not be as tidy but overall aesthetically the cupboard is,' the woman wrote.

Although the Adairs basket is now sold-out, a similar product is available from Bunnings for $7.13

Many who've seen the woman's incredible linen cupboard transformation were quick to praise her for her stunning efforts.

'Oh my, now that's laundry cupboard goals!' Wrote one commenter.

'Wish I had that much space looks fab,' said another.
