BIMSTEC leaders invited for PM Modi's oath-taking ceremony on 30th May

The BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) leaders will be attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony which will take place on the 30th of May.In continuation with Modi's government's policy of reaching out to the 'immediate neighbourhood', the government has invited leaders of the BIMSTEC member states for the swearing-in ceremony on May 30.BIMSTEC includes countries of the Bay of Bengal region and seeks to act as a bridge between South and Southeast Asia.
