It was conducted online in two shifts. One from 9 am to 12.30 pm and other from 3 pm to 6.30 pm. Exam was conducted for 1,207 seats while seven seats are reserved for overseas students in 15 AIIMS in the country,” educationist and expert Dr Avanish Pandey said.
The examination was held amid tight security as students were not allowed to enter the examination hall with ornaments or shoes with thick soles. They were told to wear half-sleeved clothes without accessories. Metal detectors, laser scanners and other advance equipments were used to frisk students in order to prevent them from using high-tech devices for cheating. “Most students claimed that paper was easy. What troubled them was physics. Biology section was easy. What troubled students most was less number of rough papers as only one, two-sided, paper was provided to them for solutions,” Dr Pandey said. Question paper had 60 questions each pertaining to physics, chemistry and biology while it had 10 questions of general knowledge and 10 questions of aptitude and logical thinking.
