After his resounding victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha as well as Assembly elections, the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in an interview to India Today TV said, "I was praying for a hung parliament and no party crosses 250."
While speaking to India Today TV in an Exclusive interview Jagan Mohan Reddy said, "I was literally praying for a hung Parliament, so that they would be dependent on regional parties. I was praying let anybody who is coming to power not cross 250."
This is not the first time the YSR chief made such confessions.
In March, Jagan Mohan Reddy had predicted a hung Parliament, assuming that his party and the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) would play an important role in the formation of the next government at the Centre.
