Prime Minister Modi meeting his mother on Sunday in Gandhinagar
After meeting the BJP workers in Ahmedabad and addressing the general public Narendra Modi went to see his mother who lives in Gandhinagar to seek her blessing after a landslide victory in the general elections.
PM Modi and BJP President Amit Shah are on a two-day visit to Gujarat.
Gujarat is the state from where Prime Minister Modi’s political journey began. He was the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 till 2014 and it was the Gujarat model of development that made Modi the front runner for the BJP PM candidate back in 2014.
BJP pulled off a clean sweep in Gujarat in the Lok Sabha elections 2019 winning all 26 seats from the states.
Party Prez Amit Shah who also hails from Gujarat won from Gandhinagar himself with a record margin.
