Swim school owner, 41, accused of sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl during lessons and molesting a 14-year-old at his pool is granted bail

A male swimming school owner has been charged over the alleged indecent assault of two girls near Albury in southern NSW.  

Tap-Ky Duong, 41, who runs GT Aquatics in Lavington, south NSW, has been accused of sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl during lessons and sexually touching a 14-year-old girl on two separate occasions. 

The NSW Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad launched an investigation following allegations the man had molested the 14-year-old in August last year.  

Police also allege Duong sexually abused an eight-year-old girl at the pool during lessons between May and September 2015. 

Duong was charged in November, but attended Albury Police Station last Thursday following further investigation.

He was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated indecent assault. 

The swimming instructor has been granted strict conditional bail to appear at Albury Local Court on Monday.   

Investigations are continuing.
