PUNE: The social security cell of the crime branch of the Pune police rescued three minor girls who were forced into prostitution by their mother. The police have arrested the woman and an agent from the Kalepadal area in
Hadapsar on Friday.
Manisha Zende, senior inspector of the social security cell, said the girls have been sent to a rescue home. “We have launched a search for another woman agent who is on the run,” Zende told TOI.

Dnyaneshwar Devkar received a tip-off about a sex racket in a building in Kalepadal in Hadapar. “We raided the flat on Saturday and found three minors between 15 and 17 years of age inside. We arrested the agent from the flat,” she added.
A case has been registered against the woman and the agent with the Hadapsar police. In another raid, the police on Friday rescued a woman forced into prostitution by a suspect. The police team raided the flat in Jambhulwadi. A case against the suspect has been registered with
