Bhopal: Samrat Sangeet Sadhna Samiti organised a concert ‘Meri Dosti Mera Pyar Laxmikant Pyarelal’ at Ravindra Bhawan on Saturday. The event was dedicated to music director of golden era of Hindi film industry Laxmikant–Pyarelal. Singer of the group presented evergreen songs of the legendary music directors, won huge round of applauses from the audience who were present in good numbers.
The event began with a song ‘Mere Dil Mein Aaj Kya Hai…,’ presented by Shyam Chaturvedi. It was followed by duet songs ‘Kah Do Ki Tu…,’ ‘Kaghaz Kalam Dawat…,’ ‘Tere Naina Mere Nainon Se…’ and ‘Pyar Hua Hai Mujhe…’. Singer Sunil Shukraware presented these duet songs with Anmol Saxena, Puja Dixit and Bhawana Nevle.
Besides, some singers from Mumbai including Mukesh Rathore, Trisha Singh Vishal Joshi, Yogendra Shrivastava, Sunil Shrivastava, and Vinit Sharma presented songs like ‘Hui Sham Unka…,’ ‘Akhiyon Ko Rahne Do…,’ ‘Shyar To Nahi…,’ ‘Jawani O Deewani…,’ and ‘Meri Dosti Mera Payar…’ which left the audience spellbound. Sanjeev Jha accompanied them on lead guitar, Prakash Richhariya on base guitar, Sanjay Shukraware on keyboard, Rajkumar Saxena on dholak, Moolchand on tabla, Anil Ojha on drum, and Vedprakash on octopad.
