NEW DELHI: LJP would like party chief Ram Vilas Paswan’s son and second-time MP Chirag to be made a minister in the Modi government, Paswan said on Saturday, saying there was a “popular demand” to this effect, reports Dipak Dash.

“Every father hopes for his son to grow and do better in life,” Paswan said.
However, Chirag told TOI, “I have a big responsibility as the chairman of the party’s parliamentary board and I am quite happy with this task. It’s PM’s prerogative to decide on ministers.” LJP is one of the few parties with a 100% strike rate in this polls, winning all six seats it contested.
