Missing Hawaii hiker found alive after two weeks

UPSOUND: AMANDA ELLER'S MOTHER: "Elated.

Excited.

Ecstatic.

I can't even put it into words.

I am so incredibly grateful." That's the mother of Amanda Eller, a 35-year old yoga teacher found alive Friday after she went missing for more than two weeks.

Hiking crews had been searching for the woman after she went missing from a popular hiking trail in Maui on May 9th.

Eller was not only found alive but in healthy condition, even though local media reported she did appear to suffer a hiking-related injury.

According to news reports, Eller said she got lost and just kept on walking.

There were fears about her fate after authorities located video showing her shopping at a local market, but later found her car and her belongings, including a cell phone in a parking lot, without any clues of her whereabouts.

Eller's mother told local media that her daughter was spotted Friday afternoon on the hiking by a helicopter.

She ws taken to the hospital for a check up and is now safely back with her family.
