Stay connected with people: Nitish Kumar to MPs

PATNA: Bihar CM and JD(U) president Nitish Kumar on Friday advised the newly elected Lok Sabha members to visit their constituencies on a regular basis and stay connected with their supporters and sympathizers in the area.
Exchanging pleasantries with some of the new party MPs and workers at the JD(U) headquarters here, Nitish said, “When I was a Lok Sabha member, I ensured to visit my constituency and meet people on a regular basis. I used to visit my constituency even during two-day break of Parliament session,” he said.
A day after registering landslide victory in the Lok Sabha elections in the state, Nitish visited the party headquarters and stayed there for around two hours.

Prominent among those who met Nitish were BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad (Patna Sahib), Ram Kripal Yadav (Pataliputra), Sanjay Jaiswal (Paschim Champaran), JD(U)’s Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh (Munger), Kaushlendra Kumar (Nalanda), Vijay Manjhi (Gaya) and Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi (Jehanabad), JD(U) state general secretary Navin Kumar Arya said.
JD(U) has won 16 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats it contested in Bihar.
