Three kids murdered in two different incidents in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Three children were murdered in two different incidents at Siddipet and Vikarabad district respectively due to marital disputes between their parents. In one case it was the mother who killed her two children and in another case it was the father who killed his daughter.
Siddipet police said that a 25-year-old C Saroja married a taxi driver Bhaskar seven years ago. They were blessed with Shriya,5, and Harshavardhan,3. On Saturday afternoon at around 2 pm, the Saroja killed her two children by stabbing them using beer bottle. Both died on the spot.
Later, Saroja, a house wife, boarded a bus and reached Karimnagar, where she surrendered before police by claiming to had killed her two children at her Ganesh Nagar residence in Siddipet. Karimnagar police immediately alerted Siddipet police and informed about the double murder at Ganesh Nagar.
When the local police reached, the two kids were found lying on the bed with stab injuries. From the scene of offence, police recovered a suicide note left by Saroja informing about her decision to commit suicide after killing he children.
``Saroja instead of committing suicide left to Karimnagar. She perhaps changed her mind. The beer bottles which were used for the murder, was it a used bottle of Saroja is yet to be known? Similarly whether she was drunk or not is to be ascertained. She is being brought from Karimnagar to Siddipet to know the exact details,’’ Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwar said.

Prima facie police came to know that marital dispute between the couple made Saroja take this decision. At the time of double murder, Bhaskar was not at their house as he was on his job. Police registered a case under section 302 (murder) of IPC.
In an another similar incident at Tandoor of Vikarabad district, a father killed his 5-year-old daughter suspecting his wife’s fidelity on Friday. The victim Kanchana was pushed into a water sump by Raju, who is a native of Bidar but residing in Tandoor by working as a stone polishing worker. Raju after having an argument with his wife Sunita, he left the house along with the victim. However, when he returned without the girl, Sunita lodged a missing complaint since Raju claimed ignorance about the girl. It was during the police search, the girl was found in a sump, which is located at a stone polishing unit.
