Computer Baba denies ‘samadhi’ vow over Digvijaya Singh

INDORE: Computer Baba aka Namdev Tyagi, who had performed havans for Congress’s Bhopal candidate Digvijaya Singh, on Saturday said that sadhus would support BJP and PM Narendra Modi if he built Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and cleaned the Ganga.

He also denied having ever said that he would take ‘samadhi’ (live burial) if Digvijaya lost. “I congratulate Narendra Modi for the victory. We saints are not bound to any political party but contribute to nation-building with their help.
The saint community will support BJP provided the PM fulfils his promise to construct Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and clean River Ganga,” Baba told TOI.
“It’s Swamy Vairagyanand, who had vowed to take ‘samadhi’ if Digvijaya lost. I have heard he was expelled from Panchayati Niranjani Akhara for that statement,” Baba said.
