Recruitment drive in Berhampur varsity

BERHAMPUR: Recruitment was held on the Berhampur University campus here by a seafood export company to hire at least eight trainee technologists. As many as 35 students from the Marine Science department of the university and College of Fishery attended the recruitment drive.
The Bhubanswar-based company would provide free accommodation, along with a monthly remuneration of Rs 15,000, to the selected candidates, who will be placed in their two processing units across the state, said Pratap Kumar Mohanty, head of the department of Marine Science. tnn

Vice-Chancellor Rajendra Prasad Dash kicked off the recruitment drive. He lauded the efforts of the department to conduct this type of campus recruitment.
"It was the first campus selection drive this year," Mohanty said. Several other seafood companies have also shown their interest to conduct campus recruitment the university, he added.
