As per reports 2 Assam Rifles troopers have been killed while 4 others have been injured in an encounter with terrorists in Nagaland. 

The terrorists ambushed a convoy of the Assam Rifles jawans at around 1 pm. An IED blast, as well as small arms firing, was reported.

Defence Spokesperson in Kohima Col Chiranjit Konwer confirmed the death of 2 jawans while 4 others had been injured and taken to the hospital.
