While the makers have now decided to begin the shoot on June 21, reports suggest that Venkat Prabhu’s dad, director-turned-politician Gangai Amaran has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. Speculations are rife that the veteran director will play a politician in the film and his character has negative shades to it. When contacted the director to confirm the same, he wasn’t available for comment. However, a source close to him said, “Except, Simbu and Kalyani, no other actors has been finalised.” Bankrolled by V House Productions, the film will have Yuvan Shankar Raja composing music for it. STR has also signed a gangster flick, which features Gautham Karthik as one of the leads.
