CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited applications for vacant research assistant posts in the Institute of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Ranipet.
There are totally 26 vacancies, and the scale of pay is Rs 55,000-1,75,700 (Level 21) as per the Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules, 2017.
Registered veterinary practitioners with MVSc degree in micro-biology, pathology, parasitology, dairy micro-biology and animal biotechnology can apply.
While 30 is the maximum age limit for general candidates, there is no such limit for reserved category candidates and destitute widows of all castes.
Selection procedure involves a written test containing two papers -- general studies and subject paper -- and an oral test.
Interested candidates can apply online (www.tnpsc.gov.in) before May 29 (Wednesday) by paying Rs 300 as registration and exam fee.
Fee and age-limit concessions for reserved category candidates are made available on the official website.
