Nagpur: With board results expected anytime, Nagpur University (NU) on Wednesday released the Common Admission Schedule (CAS) for non-professional undergraduate courses to be followed by the affiliated colleges.
Colleges have to mandatorily execute their admissions according to this schedule. Students, too, need to keep the dates in mind while applying to NU-affiliated colleges.
As scheduled, the submission of application forms will start after the board results and continue till June 22. Then, the merit and wait list will be displayed on June 28. After finalization of the merit list by July 3, students need to check their names in the wait list based on which their admissions would be confirmed as per availability of seats. From July 8, spot admissions would start for vacant seats.
During spot admissions, students need to bring hard copies of admission forms and mandatory documents.
The university has mentioned specifically that the schedule is applicable to autonomous colleges also.
