Delhi flights diverted to Lucknow

Passengers to Delhi from various destinations had a tough time when four flights were diverted to Lucknow due to bad weather conditions in New Delhi on Thursday evening.
According to Airports Authority of India, around 6pm, Srinagar-Delhi Spicejet 8956, Shirdi-Lucknow Spicejet 952, Mumbai-Delhi IndiGo 174 and one charter aircraft bound to Delhi were diverted and landed safely at Amausi airport.
The situation inside the terminal turned chaotic as 300 unscheduled diverted passengers landed there in the waiting section. Many passengers had to wait outside the terminal as it was full.
