BJP Makes it 10/10 in Haryana | The ruling BJP won all the 10 seats in Haryana, smashing what were considered as bastions of prominent political families in the state. The results of Rohtak and Faridabad seats were declared early Friday morning. While it was the BJP's best-ever performance in Haryana, carved out as a separate state in 1966, the Congress faced a rout after a gap of 20 years, as per results declared for all ten seats by the Election Commission.

Like in 1977, Congress Reduced to Just 1 Lok Sabha Seat in MP | After 40 years, Madhya Pradesh Thursday witnessed a rerun of the post-Emergency 1977 general elections, in which the Bharatiya Jan Sangh(BJS) had won 39 seats, while the Congress was reduced to just one seat - Chhindwara - in the then undivided state. In the 2019 elections, the BJP, a successor to the BJS, won 26 of the 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh till late Thursday night and established huge leads in two other constituencies. On the other hand, the Congress has managed to win just one seat - Chhindwara - and is unlikely to add to the tally.

YSRCP Wins 151 Assembly, 22 Lok Sabha Seats | As the Election Commission concluded the final round of counting yesterday, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), which swept to power in Andhra Pradesh with a landslide victory, bagged 151 seats in 175-member Assembly. It also won 22 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats. The TDP finished a distant second with 23 Assembly and three Lok Sabha seats. Actor Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party (JSP), which made the electoral debut, bagged one Assembly seat. Both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) drew blank.
