Congress victory: AICC Secretary and Himachal co-incharge Gurkirat Kotli, PPCC secretary Rajinder Singh Rauni, PPCC secretary Sukwant Singh Dugri thanked the voters of Punjab for showing faith in the ideology of Congress. He particularly thanked the voters of Ludhiana for respecting the legacy of Beant Singh and hard work of Ravneet Bittu by electing him again from Ludhiana parliamentary constituency.

He also congratulated Ravneet Bittu on winning his record third consecutive and second win from Ludhiana in MP election. He also praised Capt Amrinder Singh for his astute leadership in the state of Punjab that has stopped saffron wave to enter Punjab. Kotli showed faith in the leadership and administration skills of Rahul Gandhi as National party president and termed him as young iconic fast growing leader.
