Suriya’s NGK (Nandha Gopalan Kumaran) directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures is one of the biggest releases in Tamil this year. The latest news is that the film has cleared the censors with U/A certificate.

The actor plays an upcoming politician in the film that has Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh playing female leads. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the flick and the songs are already chartbusters. Suriya has already started the shoot of his upcoming film called Soorarai Pottruvom, directed by Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame. He also KV Anand’s Kaappaan lined up for release.
NGK is all set for a grand release on May 31 in Tamil and Telugu and is expected to have a huge opening. This will be Suriya’s first release in 16 months after Thaana Serndha Kootam.
