Marie Kondo\'s new book is for children

Marie Kondo is writing a book for children called Kiki & Jax: The Life-Changing Magic of Friendship, which will be released on 9th November 2019.
Marie, the author of the international bestseller The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, is also known as the 'international tidying superstar' for introducing the KonMari philosophy of cleaning up a house by only keeping things that spark joy.

Her upcoming work is a charming picture book featuring two friends Kiki and Jax who are a little different. Kiki is a collector while Jax is a sorter but together they both figure out how to apply the KonMari method to bring the joy back to their friendship.

The cover definitely looks like it teaches children to clean up and the book is sure to be bought by parents who want to encourage neat habits in children. The book is illustrated by Salina Yoon, who tweeted, "I am thrilled to announce a picture book collaboration with the one and only @MarieKondo! KIKI and JAX presents Marie Kondo's spark joy philosophy in a fun, meaningful, and accessible way for children."

Marie Kondo said, "I’m pleased to share this timeless story about friendship, and I hope that the characters of Kiki and Jax inspire children and families to tidy and embrace joy!” in a statement released by Penguin Random House.
