Top cop's name used to cheat trader of ACs

AHMEDABAD: Mehboobhussain Naqvi (26), a resident of Fatehwadi, lodged a complaint with city crime branch stating that Hetal Bhatti, a resident of Pragatinagar in Naranpura, cheated him of an airconditioner worth Rs 57,000 saying that he was buying the AC for the commissioner of crime branch.
In the FIR, lodged on May 17, Naqvi stated that on April 10, a man named G Chaudhary called him to tell him to deliver an AC to a school in Bopal, for this he made the full payment. However, the same man called him again the next day and said that he wanted an AC for the commissioner. This time he paid him through cheque which got bounced.
