Stalker booked for threatening woman

Ghaziabad: A 25-year-old womanhas filed a complaint against a Delhi resident accusing him of threatening her with acid attack after her family fixed her marriage with somebody else. According to the woman, the 26-year-old man has also attempted to kidnap her and even threatened to kill her family.
The accused has been identified as Preet, a resident of Ghazipur in Delhi. “Both the woman and the accused knew each other as they studied in college together,” said Sanjay Pandey, the SHO of Sihani Gate police station.
The woman from Kalka Garhi in Ghaziabad, told police that Preet had been stalking her from past few years.
The accused has been booked for breach of peace and criminal intimidation. He has also been charged under Section 66 of the IT Act.
